This meringue-based dessert was named PAVLOVA in honour of the ballerina Anna Pavlova during one of her tours to Australia and New Zealand in the 1920s.
The PAVLOVA CAKE It’s crisp and crunchy outer shell, and a soft moist cream centre, in contrast to meringue which is usually solid throughout.
Light and delicious with nice berries surprises in the middle.
